Marathon just finished installing a project at the newly renovated Sampson Hall on the campus of Stephens College in Columbia, MO.  Marathon was bought into the project by the St. Louis Architectural firm, Mitchell Mackey and assisted in the furniture design and selection.  We worked with both Merrilee Hertlein (Principal) and Beth Kutterer-Snachez (Intern Architect) as well as all of the major decision makers at Stephens, including Stephens College President, Dr. Dianne Lynch.

The new Sampson Hall will open for the Fall 2016 semester and the building will host the new Physician Assistant Program.  The physician assistant program is a two-year master’s degree program. One year is spent in a classroom laboratory setting, and the other year is a clinical rotation at Boone Hospital Center, the UM Health System or Capital Region Medical Center.

Even though Stephens is a women’s college, the new program, like all Stephens College graduate programs, will be open to both men and women.

We would like to congratulate Mitchell Mackey and the Marathon Design, Furniture Sales and our Operations teams for a job well done!

Best of luck to Stephens College with their new Physician Assistant Program and their AWESOME new space!!
